CPE Lyon has numerous partnerships with other higher education establishments and universities abroad that enable students to organise exchanges or further courses.
Through placements, jobs, and collaboration on research projects, CPE Lyon has very active relationships with enterprises.

The University of Lyon, research and higher educational centre, constituted in the form of a public scientific co-operation establishment that combines Lyon’s universities and grand écoles.
The Institut Polytechnique de Lyon (IPL), association of 4 private engineering schools in Lyon (CPE Lyon, ECAM, ISARA, ITECH).
The “Alliance des Grandes Ecoles Rhône-Alpes” (AGERA), regional association of 37 grandes écoles (engineering, management, architecture, specialist education) in the Rhône-Alpes region.
CPE Lyon students participate in the Campus Creation programme and the young ambassadors of Lyon programme.

The Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), an association of 215 French grandes écoles.
The Fédération Gay-Lussac (FGL), a network of the 19 French chemical engineering and process engineering grandes écoles.
The Fédération d’Ecoles Supérieures d’Ingénieurs et de Cadres (FESIC), its 26 members are private French higher education establishments: engineering and management grandes écoles.
The Groupe Concours Polytechniques, a network of 33 schools of engineering, offering a common entrance examination to students in grandes école preparatory classes (CPGE).

European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE)
It offers scientific collaboration in the field of chemical engineering to over 100,000 chemical engineers in 28 European countries.
European Chemistry Thematic Network (ECTN)
The network has 120 members from 30 European countries: higher education establishments, enterprises and institutional organisations. Also offers labelling schemes (Euromaster).
