"Campus de la Doua"

CPE Lyon is situated on the Doua science park in Villeurbanne, very close to Lyon.
The campus has a total population of 26,000 people made up of students, researchers, PhD students and company employees.

On this 100 hectare centre for education and research are:

  • Higher education establishments: Claude Bernard Lyon 1 university, including two IUTs and the Institut des Sciences et Techniques de l’Ingénieur de Lyon (ISTIL), the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Lyon, the ENSSIB (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Sciences de l’Information et des Bibliothèques).
  • 80 research laboratories, under the supervision of national organisations (the CNRS, INSERM, INRA and INRIA), as well as research and exploitation organisations.
  • 50 high tech enterprises.
  • Industrial technology centres.
  • Continuing education centres.

Services for students

Catering

On the campus, two university restaurants (Jussieu and Puvis de Chavanne) operate every day of the week, except Sundays and bank holidays.

Sport and Infrastructures

CPE Lyon benefits from all the inter university sports facilities on the Doua Campus: football and ruby pitches, swimming pool, multipurpose gym…

Students that want to can therefore enjoy physical activities through the CPE Lyonsports association, which is affiliated to the Fédération Française du Sport Universitaire (FFSU).

The school offers 11 activities: volleyball, football, swimming, tennis, climbing, handball, rugby, weight training, table tennis, dance, basketball.

Many students also enjoy entering competitions organised by the FFSU.
